“Conchs, Cowboys and Tales of Old Key West!” returns to Red Barn Theatre ONLY THREE MORE SHOWS! The Made In Key West Band rocks a musical night and plugs in legends of the southernmost island into the bargain. This engaging evening of incredible music & song is back by popular demand – but only three shows left—April 13, 14, 21!

John Wells directs the hometown Made in Key West Band through a foot-tapping collection of country, cowboy, folk rock and blues music including original compositions about the unbelievable characters in Key West history.  The intimate nature of the Red Barn Theatre coupled with the easy going humor and skilled musicianship of the band makes a cozy and entertaining night.

Gary McDonald, George Halloran, Tom Murtha and music legend Paul Cotton, of the seminal seventies band Poco join Wells onstage. Cotton performs his magical tribute to New Orleans “The Heart of the Night” as well as Poco’s cover of J.J. Cale’s “Cajun Moon.” Wells and Murtha, comprising The John Wells Delegation, opened for Poco at the Baltmore Civic Center in 1975. The ensuing friendship and performance experience ultimately led to the Red Barn Stage for the ever popular “Conchs, Cowboys and Tales of Old Key West.”  A good percentage of the audience are friends and long-time fans of the group, so there is a warm and enthusiastic atmosphere.

Special guests for the show will be Camille Russo Toler, doing a Stephen Foster duet with Wells, and Island Alex Ocinczyc,  performing his “Southernmost Song” from his musical about Key West.

“Conchs, Cowboys and Tales of Old Key West” runs to April 21 at the Red Barn Theatre, 319 Duval Street, Rear. Contact the Red Barn box office for tickets and more information: www. redbarntheatre.com or 305-296-9911.
