Why can’t they simply state their position as “We employ many people in Key West and what benefits our bottom line leads to more employees, more taxes paid and ultimately more income for Key West”? The disingenuousness and misdirection exhibited by the pro-study faction tells me that they know that the majority does not share their priorities in life but then, I suppose that’s why they have so much more money than the rest of us.
