Support the Study kickoff to recognize local employees

KEY WEST: Support the Study will hold its campaign kickoff 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, at Fogarty’s Restaurant, 227 Duval St. The event is open to the residents. Appetizers, beer and wine will be provided.

The kickoff is a fundraiser to recognize what its organizers call “the backbone of our island lifestyle,” the men and women who everyday go to work and sustain Key West’s tourism-based economy.

Support the Study was created by the Greater Key West Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee to campaign for approval of the Oct. 1 feasibility study referendum and to raise funds for the campaign.

Support the Study, as its name indicates, has not take a position on channel widening. Its only position is supporting the feasibility study referendum. Support the Study believes Key West’s future depends on a robust economy, a protected environment and a sustainable quality of life.
