Finally a locals band that knocks the socks off sophisticated tourists and locals alike. The Love Lane Gang, a bunch of highly trained musicians, are carrying their foot stomping, child friendly and jitter bug-hopping music from the 20’s through current day  to happy audiences all around  town.

Singing gypsy jazz, old school country, and little known songs from The Beatles, The Kinks, and The Rolling Stones, along with carefully chosen pieces from current artists including Andrew Bird, Mason Jennings, and The White Stripes, plus their amazing originals such as Jerrod Isaman’s Homeless Blues, Freight Train and Nothing, and Steve LaPierre’s Tropical Swing; the Love Lane Gang is putting Key West music back on the map.

Playing washboard, spoons, kazoo, mandolin, fiddle, banjo, guitar, bass and percussions, the members span an age range of over thirty years, as they bring back the concept of skiffle music.   (…a style of 1920s and 1930s jazz derived from blues, ragtime, and folk music, using improvised and conventional instruments.) So come on down and enjoy the joyous ruckus!

The Gang is playing all over town during January, including a special 9PM show at the Parrot on Thursday Jan. 23rd.
