This presentation will include the medicinal, emotional and spiritual use of plants in traditional Maya Medicine Healing from Central America as practiced by tribal shamans.    Jen will also show the award-winning video, “Sastun: My Apprenticeship with a Maya Healer”.

Jennifer O’Hagan is a registered professional herbalist through the American Herbalists Guild.  Further studies took her to Rosita Arvigo’s Institute, where she studied for over a decade and is a senior instructor. She travels all over the world teaching Maya Abdominal Therapy, and was chosen to teach Maya Spiritual Healing classes at the Institute.  She is on the Arvigo Institute’s Advisory Council in Belize.  Jen is a licensed massage therapist, Reiki Master, and Loomis Digestive Health Specialist.  Her practice is in Hope, NJ, in the northern Ramapo Mountains.
