The Florida Keys Community College’s student ceramics club Mud-Pi will hold its 19th annual fund-raising dinner on Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Fountain Plaza on the Key West Campus (behind the Tennessee Williams Theatre).

Dinner will be prepared by Master Chef, Robin Gogin, wife of Director of the college’s popular art program and internationally-renowned ceramist, Jay Gogin.

Attendees will be able to select their own student-crafted glazed ceramic bowl in which to enjoy this year’s Indian chicken delicacy and then take home as a commemorative souvenir.

The funds raised will be used to purchase materials and equipment that enable Mud-Pi to continue to beautify and enrich the community.  Over the past 20 years, Gogin and his talented students have generously created dozens of intricately-adorned ceramic wall murals and garden fountains that grace many locations in the Keys and provide the college’s main campus its signature aesthetic.

Tickets are $ 25.00 and can be purchased on keystix.com.  For tickets or more information contact Janice Stevens at (305) 294-3099.
