DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD OF MONROE COUNTY / NOTICE OF BOARD WORKSHOP and SPECIAL MEETING

The School Board of Monroe County will hold a Workshop & Special Meeting beginning at 3:00 PM.  It will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at the Coral Shores High School Media Center, 89901 Overseas Highway, Tavernier. At this meeting, a Closed Attorney/Client Session will be held concerning the Gootee v. MCSB case. In attendance shall be the Superintendent, the Board, Scott Black, Dirk Smits, and Theron Simmons along with a Court Reporter.

If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Board, with respect to any matter considered at a School Board meeting or hearing, that person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made.  If signing, special seating or other accommodations are required, please call 293-1400 ext. 53324 (TDD Number 293-1400 ext. 53331) 72 hours prior to the meeting.
