It’s Christmas with The Love Lane Gang

Love Lane-156

Remember The Drifters’ doo-wop version of “White Christmas?” Or Brenda Lee’s rockabilly rendition of “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree?” How about Elvis’ rhythm-and-blues “Blue Christmas?”

The family-friendly foot-stomping Love Lane Gang continues to create their musical ruckus all around town this week, tossing in these old Christmas favorites with their all-season repertoire from Tom Waits, the Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Phil Ochs’ “Draft Dodger”, a little surf music and their own originals “Freight Train,” “Homeless Blues,” and Tropical Swing.”  Nothing seems off limits or too hilarious for this eclectic group of accomplished musicians.

The Gang is powered by: lead singer and guitarist Jerrod Isaman; the passionate bass player, Steve LaPierre;  seasoned musician,  Steve Gibson on  mandolin, and Rob Cook, the washboard tie guy, on percussion. Throw in “the kids”, Sarah Klitenic and Justin Alsedek with vocals, washboard and ukulele, add dueling banjo player Jason Shore and the sultry voice of Brielle Fesenfeld … and watch the crowd get even happier as the beat goes on.

Enjoy the Gang this weekend… all around town!
